Sadly, that was our future at the time. Is there any truth to the rumor that they are now planing another submarine ride at WDW?? If so I hope it is not another Beatle's monument!!! I truly hope it might stay true to the 20K theme. Any thoughts, or comments? LT Awol, standing by........ P.S. Sorry about the "Yellow" joke, but I'd hate to see another Disneyland job.....

yes, there will be some sort of water/little mermaid ride as part of a new Fantasyland expansion project.

I'm excited for this project, and I'm glad that Pooh playground will get leveled!
that will be some sweet revenge

You haven't been trapped waiting for the docks to open up with a sub full of people singing Yellow Submarine. :\

Yet, I agree. They turned the subs into an underwater dark ride. The projections are novel, the dry stages they work with were neat, but at the risk of offending my old friends there, it didn't have any soul.

NemoHelmsman (T), you have my most humble apology if you thought I was taking shots at you or DL. How you tolerate that environment is way beyond my abilities at my age!!! I, for one, am thankful to know that good folks like you are still keeping our 20Kride memories alive. Please don't forget that my comment about our future was in reference to what WDW became, not what it was. Hang in there, and if the sea provides I hope to visit you and DL soon. Take care my friend, and good luck with the American Idol wannabes!! ... LT Awol, standing by.........
